The National Federation of the Blind of Washington (NFBW) is the Washington affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), the oldest and largest nationwide organization of the blind in the United States.

NFB of Washington 2010 Annual Convention

The 2010 annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Washington will be held October 22-24, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel, 301 West 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660. Reservations may be made by calling the hotel at (360) 993-4500. When making reservations, please make sure to specify that you are attending the convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Washington so that you will get one of the block of rooms reserved for the convention. Rates are $89 per night for singles and doubles, $99 per night for tripples and $109 per night for quads. City and state taxes of 10.2% of the room rate per night are added but this is lower than in most other jurisdictions. Please make your reservations soon as the availability of the block of rooms is guaranteed only until September 22.

More information concerning convention activities and schedule will be coming soon. You won't want to miss this year's convention as it will be better than ever!

2010 NFB of Washington Scholarships

Information is now available concerning the scholarships to be awarded to outstanding blind college students during the banquet of the 2010 convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Washington.
